Long screen work, stress and repeated positions can leave the neck and shoulders feeling tired or stiff. A gentle reset should feel comfortable and should not force the neck into painful end ranges or create symptoms travelling into the arm.
Try changing position, relaxing the jaw and shoulders, and completing slow pain-free neck movements. Short walking breaks and adjusting the screen closer to eye level can reduce the amount of time spent holding one demanding posture.
Regular upper-back movement and gradual strengthening usually provide more lasting support than stretching alone. Seek professional assessment if stiffness persists, follows an injury or is accompanied by weakness, numbness, severe headache or worsening arm pain.
